Traditional media 5 week course
In this 5-week course, we will explore together all sorts of different media we can use or illustration and self expression.
Over 15 hours of class, and 7 different live demos with different methods and media.
Through weekly lectures, demos, and assignments, students will learn how to play with colour, textures and different media to be able to visually express our thoughts and ideas.
The lectures will range between how I approach colour in my paintings, to how I embrace plain air sessions and all the materials I like to use.
We'll explore playfulness and how that can help us find a style and a way to allow us to feel comfortable painting without loosing freshness in our art.
Materials and techniques we'll try out include watercolours, acryla gouache, gouache, pencil colours, oil pastels, crayons, coloured pens, markers, paper-cuts amongst others.
We'll also talk about how to develop a good portfolio and to find the right agent, if that's something you're looking for.
I'll be sharing all my materials in detail and there'll be a Discord for us to be able to be in contact and share our work anytime :)
I'll also be there answering questions that might raise and sharing resources from the class that might be interesting or requested by you.
Access to videos from 5 different weeks, sometimes split in 2 sessions of 2-3hours each. Each week's video will include a different technique and a different exercise for you to try out. Access to the high-res scanned images too, resources from class, Discord channel to share your explorations, a bunch of tips and secrets and much more!!
